"Were not our hearts burning within us!"
Last week we discussed Objective Truth! Does it exist? What is subjectivism? How can we know God exists from the natural world around us, and from the application of our reason to the question of the origin of the universe. Using Thomas Aquinas’s 5 proofs of God’s existence we can know that somewhere there is an intelligent being who was the “Uncaused cause” or the “Prime mover”.
Tonight we talked about who this God is, the fact that He has revealed Himself to us gradually over time, and how that revelation has taken form in part as Sacred Scripture. We talked about the history of Sacred Scripture and from whence it came!
There was some great discussions, and some great question, to which I’ll respond when I’m not so loopy
